God Has Not Called You To Fit In

If you’re among those who’ve spent a lifetime proving yourself, to a world God doesn’t approve of, this message is for you.

“Your task down here on earth is not to fit in, it’s to prepare yourself to eventually get in.” I’m talking about getting into Heaven! Getting into Heaven is every believers final goal, or at least it should be!

Yes, everything you do, say, or think, should first provoke you to consider eternal consequences of your actions.

Word to the worldly; if you fit in too good on earth, most likely you won’t be getting in to Heaven.

“This life is not a test run. You only get one chance to get it right.”

As long as you opt to follow the masses, you’ll never experience the kind of life God has planned for those willing to forgo the temptation to constantly fit in.

We’ve all seen remnants of lives lived by pitiful people, determined to fit in regardless of potential consequences. This my brother and sister is never a pretty picture and frankly, it never ends well.

“Since God didn’t call you to fit in: “As a believer, one of the most difficult lessons you’ll ever undertake in your lifetime, is how to live in a world you don’t fit in.”

Needless to say, this is a test many fail miserably at. To fit in they often find themselves trying too hard, doing to little for the Lord, and expecting too much from a world that has nothing comparable to what God promises to give. Be in the world, but not of the world! Sound familiar?

“Of the world means, fitting in.”

How many of you can honestly say, “the prize for fitting in, was truly worth the price you paid in the end?”

It seems like once you’re old enough to see the world and be tempted by all it has to offer, Satan snatches you into his army of wannabe soldiers. His sole mission is to make you wanna fit in, without suspecting his involvement!

Jesus doesn’t need you to fit in. He needs you to stand out and up, just for Him.

Are you ready to give up the world for eternal life? Actually it’s not as difficult as you might think, because fitting in is a constant battle, and one you’ll never win. On the other hand, you never have to go to battle with the Lord to get into Heaven!

“Fitting in, on the other hand, is a whole different ballgame! “No matter how much effort you put into it, there is always more work to be done; different people to please, and a boatload of carnal crosses to bear.

“Bottom line; fitting in is not an easy task, no matter who you are.”

If you really want to feel like this life is worth living, stop trying to fit in. Man can’t offer you eternal life or a place in Heaven, so why give him and Satan all that power?

Instead! Why not try doing things that make you stand out in a way that pleases Jesus Christ?
