1 Timothy 6:10 is misconstrued by many!
Sometimes we forget, " it’s impossible to love God and money too?"
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. 1Timothy 6:10
"When you stop chasing money, it stops running out!" You will always have enough to sustain you. This doesn’t mean all of your wants will be satisfied, but your needs will be supplied.
It’s the love of money that causes problems, not the necessity of money…..
God will take away your love or obsession for money and things you don’t need, if you give Him permission to supply all your needs. That’s all He ask in return for this precious gift.
When you free yourself from the chains of greed, you’ll find you don’t need nearly as much as you thought you needed to live comfortably. Too many people unknowingly become addicted to excess and waste. They confuse wants with needs and greed with God’s will. Greed is one of Satan’s most effective stronghold tools. He knows many will choose to spiritually perish, rather than do without." Its a sad day!
Do you believe with all your heart God will supply all your needs?
Well I do!
Over the last few years I’ve been tested thourough, and here recently, tenfold! In fact, "I can’t tell you how many times I had no solution to my problems, which were often related to the lack of." There were times when I couldn’t see any evidence suggesting provision would be made.
But, just when I thought I’d have to do without, "God stepped in, providing just what I needed, through seemingly unlikely, sources." It turns out, having Faith was my guarantee God would provide!
Sometimes you have to give up fancy, become frugal. Then you have to trade in luxury for basic and write off the wannabes, in exchange for a relationship with Jesus Christ. As you can see, when put in the same sentence, people chasing the devil’s creations stand out like a sore thumb. "They don’t fit in God’s plan."
Why do you think God’s children don’t need money to buy the most precious gift one could ever receive? Surely you see the hidden lesson on the love of money!
