“10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,” Philippians 3:10
Nobody said that life would be easy, without struggles, or bouts of sorow. In fact, God’s Word tells us just the opposite. So, when conditioning the “mind, body and spirit” remember that one must be real to be empowered to heal. In the believer’s world “real” infers having a relationship with God!
God’s power is real. A person’s professing to have healing power of any kind in absence God is a FAKE!
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you insheep’s. clothing, but inwardly they are raveningwolves. … sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are raveningwolves“. Matthew 7: 15
Just because words sound good doesn’t mean that they will do you any good in the long run. Believers especially must be on the look out for false prophets, power hungry people, cult cultivators. Believe it or not, negative forces are all around us. They come in many different forms.
The question to ask yourself when entrusting another to direct forces that effect the “mind, body and spirit” is; “does this person behave as one who knows Jesus?” Beware of any human who appears to have ordained themselves as an authority higher than the Creator. You will recognize them by their words, actions and deeds.
Knowing God gives us an upperhand, additional lenses into the “not so obvious,” and spirits of ill intentions. You will get knocked down in this life. The key to finding strength enough to get up rests with the Father. The problem is not being down on the ground, it’s if one stays down there too long. There is no way to carry the cross laying down.
Everything that happens in life inevitably serves a purpose. It is up to us to use pain as a healing mechanism, coupled with new-found strength. Yes, it’s true, “whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” How you say? Well, because you got through it! You survived, which shows others in similiar circumstances that they can too.
Father God, protect me from my enemies, wolves dressed in sheeps clothing, and pretenders who claim to know your name. God, I want to be healthy in the mind, body and spirit. So, Lord please only send people into my life to guide me who have sought Your guidance beforehand. And, even more important, “send only those who have Your approval to tend to spiritual and emotional needs of others.” This is my prayer today. In Jesus name, Amen.Ministerneecy
