Tracee Ellis Ross Teaches a Lesson About Sunshine

“Sunshine is sweet; it is good to see the light of day. 8 People ought to enjoy every day of their lives, no matter how long they live. But they should also remember this: You will be dead a long time. Everything that happens then is useless.” Ecclesiastes 11:7-8

It’s not often that I run across a micro video that I have to share, but a few minutes ago, on Facebook, I did. From what I see this is not a new Tracee Ellis Ross micro video, but it sure is one of her best short and sweet motivational messages. As far as I’m concerned she’s a natural from head to toe.

While I don’t know her personally, from what I’ve seen she appears to be an expert at making lemons into lemonade. This is not to say that I think she has a perfect life, “who does?” Instead, I think that she carries her baggage like a lady who knows the power of a smile.

In this brief powerful video Tracee Ellis Ross portrays a perfect example of when “Less is More!”

I like Tracee’s message, which can be interpreted in more ways than one. Surely we can relate it to the importance of maintaining a positive attitude? However, we can take this baby even further. Tracee provokes viewers to think about “sharing, spreading love, joy, and celebrating life.” And she does so with such an invigorating display of energy.”

Consequently, “Tracee is right, there is enough sun for everybody!” Nobody has to hog the sun for fear of depleting their personal glow. In essence, God manufactured enough sun for all of us to embrace and share with others.

Basically, you can stop throwing shade!

Letting your light shine is more about others than it is about you? Just look at how Tracee warmed hearts with her sun, smile and positive attitude. Her self-reflection is so piercing that it reaches far beyond her immediate circle.

This is how all of us should be rolling out sunshine!
