Motives Matter

God
is a bridge over troubled waters, a light in times of darkness, protector in moments of danger. Do you believe that, with all of your heart?

If you live long enough, there will be times when your life suddenly feels like it’s falling apart. Maybe you’ll lose a child, parent, or spouse. You may even bear witness to somebody’s life going up in flames as a result of living a life derailed by mind-altering chemicals. How one responds to tribulation says a lot about spiritual and moral character. Good Character alone is not enough to please God. The father desires for us to have a clean heart as well. Collectively, the two keeps motives pure, and our behavior and actions acceptable in God’s sight. During times like these we must look to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for deliverance.

When tribulation and trials become apparent, it doesn’t take long to figure out that there is nothing we can do to curtail them.

This is God’s way of showing us we can do nothing without Him. In fact, it is during these times He compels us to acknowledge his presence by admitting “we cannot do anything without him.”

If you choose to procrastinate or pontificate more, about the urgency of the situation, expect God’s wrath to follow. Behavior and attitude determine the fate of all given latitudes and motives speak to intention.

Thinking about what you’re thinking about doing before you do it makes sense?

The Lord is always concerned with our intent. In other words, why did you do what you did?

Did you do it for the glory of God?

In case you can relate, or find yourself in a situation where you don’t know which way to turn, try getting down on your knees, call out to Jesus Christ, and watch God change things.

There is still time to make your presence known, and assure the Lord that you know there’s no other help you know! And then Surrender….

As humans, we are all subject to experiencing highs and lows in life. “It is during these times when God does his best work.

You see, at our lowest point, He and only He, is actually able to fix our brokenness, bring us out, and lift us above all negative circumstances.

The Lord can make any broken thing whole again.

Finally, those who repeatedly reject Jesus will be rejected by him in return.“Always remember, Jesus went where He was Celebrated not tolerated!” Having impure motives causes God to erect spiritual, emotional, financial and economical blocks to thwart progress and success.

It’s time to get your house in order, so when Jesus knocks again, you’re motives will be pure, unquestionably for the good, and the execution well thought out to avoid causing another hurt or harm.

In short, time is not only short but it is running out!

  1. Great words everyone needs to read. He certainly does fix broken things. He has fixed my broken heart over and over again! The only way you can write like that is by going thru the fire. You have my utmost respect!
