"And whoever would be first among you must be your slave,28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.β Matthew 20: 27-28

As I matured in Christ, I began to realize salvation comes with a price. Today, you will discover shocking reasons why sacrifice is essential to salvation. Essentially, newly learned knowledge led me to discover shocking reasons why sacrifice is essential to salvation. Accordingly I realized that “everybody wants to preach, but nobody wants to minister! Perhaps that is because to minister one must sacrifice him or herself and care deeply about the state of others. To sacrifice is to act unselfishly, abandoning urges to serve-self.
People are hurting and in need of more than lip service. Christians are preordained to serve and lead lost souls to Christ by example and sacrifice. According to the Dictionary.com website, as a noun, examples of sacrifice may consist of; the offering of animal, plant, or human life or the material possession to a deity, as in propitiation or homage. In verb form, used with the person, animal, or thing, and (used with an object), it is to make a sacrifice or offering of, to surrender or give up or permit injury or disadvantage to, for the sake of something else.
“Self-sacrifice is one of the major themes of the New Testament. Jesus modeled it for us in the way He lived. ( gotquestions.org)
Though He was God, He did not demand His rights as God, but demonstrated servant leadership in everything He did.” (Philippians 2:6β8).
So you see, you must give of yourself in a manner that results in giving up something that you value, lovingly, like time, things or money whenever possible. Christians must not restrict sacrificing efforts to only those they know personally or who like or love them. Through Scripture, the Bible gives clear instructions coupled with examples of what “sacrifice” looks like. Pay close attention to the emphasis placed on the essence of the meaning of sacrifice found in Scripture depicting illustrations of sacrifice. At the end of this post, the following Scriptures give profound clarity to anyone seeking to dissect the true meaning of sacrifice.
God is looking down on us to see if we are intentionally attending to the needs of those we claim to care about.” The Father needs Christians who feel passionate about changing lives, are committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are willing to sacrifice for the greater good. There is no halfway point. We must fully commit or get off the ship. As people say, our actions speak volumes, and so do our words or lack of either.
Simply put, a spiritually sick brother or sister is one whose heart prohibits them from sacrificing themselves due to selfishness. Selfishness is a symptom of spiritual sickness, preventing one from effectively leading others to Christ by example. Because they are sick, they must first get well themselves. To approach the lost and sick, bearing open wounds subjects others to infection rather than healing. The most dangerous aspect of spiritually deficient or sick people trying to help others is the risk of spreading disease.
Every day we see evidence of disease spreading among the people both virally and spiritually. Let’s talk about spreading spiritual disease for a moment. Dissemination of false truths embedded in conspiracies may be the most egregious modern-day spiritual disease of all time. The keyword here is embedded. Hidden! Designed to deceive! Repeated to
Oftentimes, conspiracy messengers intertwine religion to help validate or give credibility to epistles. In Biblical terms, the concept can be chalked up to spreading false prophesy. In worldly provisions, “conspiracy” best describes the phenomenon. One need only examine the messenger’s purpose to actuate validity, which in turn brings to light the absence of evidence of any personal sacrifice. According to the Oxford dictionary, a conspiracy is a group’s secret plan to do something unlawful or harmful?
That said, how does one intermingle God with intentional human acts of unlawful or harmful actions against others? They carry signs depicting God’s name, His Scripture, and even portraying His face. Most disturbing, the only sacrifice going where conspiracists are involved is that of others?
How could so many people fall victim to so many claims or conspiracies that do make common or otherwise sense? The one about all Democrats being pedophiles? Even if it were true, why would that bother you when 70-plus million Americans voted for a President who’s been accused of rape, disrespects women in more ways than one cares to count, has no empathy for others, let millions of people get infected with a possibly deadly virus, tell lies every time his lips move, incite and ordain a coup to overturn an election and cowardly go into hiding as it all goes down?
Adopting the practice of selecting sins to bear according to situations is mute to God. The lynch mob is no less guilty of sin because they only desire to lynch people they hate. The con-man is no less of a sinner than the crooked politician. The Christian politician is still a sinner if he or she aims to serve the privileged. The evil preacher is just a sinner dressed up as a man or woman of the cloth, and the story goes. All I can do is pray, and (SMH).
