LIFESTYLE CHANGE

Don’t confirm any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Romans 12:2

If I don’t know anything else in life I know that ”if nothing thing changes, nothing changes!” All my life, I have been the kind of person who listens as much to what my heart tells me first while often ignoring the voice of my soul. Learning how to take meaningful lifestyle changing walks is priceless!

“Observe the commands of the LORD your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him.” Deuteronomy 8:6

The soul or the spirit is the voice within that never verbalizes. It is the most powerful source of one’s conscious, yet it rarely fights to be heard. Instead the soul cries out in hopes the pain will garner out undivided attention. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not.

Your soul is not a thing to be toyed with. To connect with it one must make room for it. Room time. Room is special treatment. Room is space to engulf the inner workings of the mind body and spirit. So you see how taking long meaning walks can be a good thing. A walk meaningful walk is more than placing one foot in front of the other. It is a journey, a virtual power walk within.

“Those who walk with God, always reach their destination.” ― Henry Ford

There are beneficial things happening within all at once. The blood is flowing, the nostrils are sucking in unfettered air and the mind is set free, so that it can expand to places it rarely goes or in some cases would rather not be.

Above you learned about just a few ways taking meaning lifestyle walks can trigger rejuvenation!

Learning how to take meaningful lifestyle walks changed my life.

These walks provoked me to indulge in carrying out emotional purging and cleansing. Most important, was realizing that I was not walking the walk that I often talked. Basically, there were many times during my life when my actions led to the Father allowing me to feel as though I was walking alone. I couldn’t see where his footsteps replaced mine, and there appeared to be no other boots on the ground. But, there were. He was always there.

Lifestyle Change Explained

“The one who says he resides in God ought himself to walk just as Jesus walked.”  1 John 2:6

Picture the ground in this case as the road to salvation, paved in bricks of obedience, held together by divine mortar and sealed with good deeds and unconditional love. That same road portrays the highway to heaven, and the only way up. Oh it’s easy to talk a good talk, but putting one foot in front of the other to make changes in life worthy of God’s attention requires much more.

Talking buys time but at some point, the time comes when we have to put up or shut up! To put up you have to bring something of value to God‘s table. He wants to see effort, evidence and sacrifice. God wants you to bring what you’ve made of your life after coming to know him. The new you must be renewed and ready to accept his grace and unconditional love.

A renewing of one’s mind, body and soul is an absolute must if you want to see his face. The world tells you “a mind is a terrible thing to waste, ”but then God turns around and shows us that if our mind is not on him everything in this life is a waste.

Changing our lifestyle is nonnegotiable if we want to see his Face and if we want to escape Satan‘s trap of deception. Conforming to this world is like signing your own death wish. The only way to avoid conforming to this world is to give your life to Christ. Making a lifestyle change is not difficult as it seems on the surface.

Carrying out a godly lifestyle change requires surrendering to God which calls for accepting him as Lord and Savior.

When we truly surrender to God we can all things through Christ who strengthens us.

Taking meaningful lifestyle changing walks renews the mind body and spirit. When the mind body an spirit are renewed collectively lifestyle changes take place.

Renewal means “make new again, like a baby.” That’s how you have to look at it. God wants us clean, innocent, free of everything that is not of him. He wants us to intentionally change our lifestyle without fear of leaving that we once knew behind.

How can you tell if change is in order?

If almost every road you’ve taken in life seems to have led to regret, just not enough time in the day to read the Word, your health is failing and you don’t know what to do, children are disappointing you too and you feel as if life has no purpose…. It’s time!

Remember this….

But whoever fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.  Proverbs: 8;36
