Everybody needs powerful scriptures for messy mistakes at least one time in life. Of course if you only need one once you are exceptional. If you’ve ever been in a conversation with somebody who believes they are perfect, and tells you they rarely or never make mistakes don’t believe the hype. Share these powerful Scriptures for mistakes.

In fact, believe your gut, which will probably tell you the person is lying to you and themselves. Why do people do this? Surely they cannot truly believe an untruth so grandiose? Maybe, they can. Sometimes, if you tell yourself something over and over again it can start to sound true.

This happens in romantic relationships, church relationships, and more. Think about it. How many times have you made excuses for another’s bad behavior, including both adults and children? Even though all evidence points to other likely conclusions, we may choose to ignore them. We do this because sometimes the truth hurts so bad that living with a lie seems better.

However, as for perfection, and humans, the two do not go together under any circumstances. For starters, nobody can do everything good or perfect all the time, or at any time for that matter. Simply put, every human ends up being a master of very few things in life, yet a jack of many trades. Essentially, being a master of something does not make one perfect in any aspect of whatever it is they have mastered. Somewhere along the way mistakes were made, even if not evident to most. And, that’s okay.

Making mistakes of some kind is inevitable. So, don’t beat yourself up too bad if you’ve made one, or some that you can’t seem to live down. Remember, “every mistake is a teaching moment.” The bigger the mistake the more you learn, if you are teachable.

Let’s start the day off right by acknowledging your mistakes, weaknesses, and the need for help!

There is no better place to find help than in the Bible. Scriptures are there to teach, guide, and provoke us to do the right thing.
