Wisdom, a treasure sought by many, A gem that shines bright, though not just any, For it’s not just knowledge or intelligence, But a knowingness, a deep sense of relevance.

It’s the wisdom of the ages, the ancient ways, Passed down through the ages, a gift that stays, A legacy of insight, of trials and errors, A guide through the mazes, a light through the terrors.

It’s the wisdom of experience, hard-won and true, Forged in the fires of life, a crucible anew, A crucible of challenges, of struggles and pains, A path that leads to growth, a goal that remains.

James 1:5 – “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

This scripture highlights that wisdom is a gift from God, and those who lack it can ask Him for it. God is willing to give wisdom generously to those who seek it.

Proverbs 2:6 – “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

This scripture emphasizes that wisdom comes from God and is rooted in His divine nature. Those who seek wisdom should turn to God, who is the ultimate source of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

It’s the wisdom of the heart, the gentle voice within, That speaks of compassion, of love and kin, A voice that calms the storms, that soothes the soul, A voice that guides us home, to a place that’s whole.

So seek the wisdom, the treasure of the wise, Embrace its lessons, let them open your eyes, For in its light, you’ll find a path that’s true, A path of understanding, a path of renewal.
