What provokes a man to ask why am I here? Surely, one would at least have an idea at some point in their adult life, but many never do. Today is the best time in your life to examine this question, while there is still time to find out the answer, and fulfill your God-given purpose.

Many have become obsessed with tending to the “mind, body & spirit.” Surprisingly, the masses seem to be examining the essence of purpose based on the condition of the mind, body and spirit. They believe that if the mind, body and spirit have balance, life is good, so “why am I here? can be easily answered.”

The problem arises when the answer fails to identify reasons that line up with God’s plans. Some reverberation makes no mention of God at all.

In fact, pandamonium with tuning the mind body and spirit is so energetic that an entire movement has evolved. What I find interesting is how different a believer’s approach to healing the “mind, body spirit” is from non-believers. Perhaps the most obvious distinction between the two is that we truly believe that we can do nothing without God.

Moreover, believers make no apologies for giving God all the credit for healing of any kind. Ultimately, believers only acknowledge one Higher Power, and debunk any other notion suggesting that humans have such super natural authority.

Most agree that the health of one’s mind, body and spirit is important. If the spirit is out of whack, health is deteriorated and the mind is not up to par, quality of life is all but guaranteed to suffer.

Even though nonbelievers empower themselves to alter thinking, behavior and outcomes, they cannot. Accordingly, what meets their requirements of a healthy mind body and spirit fails to rise to the Lord’s expectations.

“Basically, God is not part of a life that He is not Head of.”

Whatever you do, don’t ask man to answer the question, “why am I here?” Ask God through prayer, meditation and supplication.

If you feel compelled to ask the question “why am I here?” more likely than not the health of your spiritual mind body and spirit is not good.

How would you describe a healthy “mind, body and spirit?
