I know. Trying to stay positive in times of trouble can be challenging at best. If nothing else, it becomes obvious during these moments that some motivational speeches are full of crap, only because life is just not that cut and dry.

As the case may be, there is no road map to living a life free of clutter. Clutter represents detours, distractions, mistakes, consequences, heartache, and failure, which every human will encounter on some level. The cliche “life is complicated” is more than a saying, it’s also true! Anything of significance in life is anything but”black and white” except Truth. Truth is everything that it promises to be.

Make no mistake, “there are times when the truth does not motivate.” And, usually, contrary to popular motivating jargon, “just wanting something really bad is not enough.” You need the great “I AM” walking beside you.

His plan for your life makes “highly motivated” a possibility because He wants you to be eager to live. To be eager you must be motivated to rise above unfavorable circumstances.

Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Stay with me now. Nobody is motivated 24/7. Just like cars run out of and need gas, so do people. In fact, motivation operates like a car. “It needs fuel to perform.”

Here’s why. Man can not give you hope, only God can do that. That said, any motivational speaker who fails to give God the credit for finding words to inspire and encourage you speaks in a false tongue.

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

The good thing about leaning on God for strength, calling on Him for encouragement, and reaching out to him for inspiration is that He already knows all about your sorrow, problems, and reasons for lack of motivation. Feeling overwhelmed? God can take away all that you cannot shoulder.

The Bible is overflowing with Scripture specially designed to lift your spirits. You don’t have to make a permanent home in a rut! The Father longs to see you in the light that He is shining upon your life. But to get in that light you must start walking out of the darkness. Get motivated today!

Deuteronomy 20:4

For the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.

Make this day the last day that sadness, depression, and hopelessness dominate space in your life. Scripture can lift you up out of the pit of darkness like no other spiritual force to change can.

Choose life over death, the kind of death that destroys families, and relationships, prohibits eternal life, and the gift of joy. Look, there is no way to sugarcoat how upbringing can negatively influence how we approach life, decisions, disappointment, and matters of the heart.

To conquer negative aspects of either one must be motivated to trust in the only Power higher than themselves. A man who requires motivation from other men to motivate others has no power of his own. God is the ultimate motivator. He motivates man, yet man cannot motivate Him!

Another thing is, upbringing influences how we approach life, decisions, disappointment, and matters of the heart. To conquer negative aspects of either one must be motivated to do so.

Where does your desire or lack of to get motivated come from?

Below, I have gathered some of the most powerful Scriptures in the Bible to help you turn your life around so that you can become motivated to live the life that God desires.

All you have to do is give whatever it is that’s causing you despair and anxiety over to God, right now, this minute, at the moment!

So, how do you stay motivated in a depressing situation? Whether the need to be motivated involves taking control of your life, restoring a relationship, or being better at the job you do, you need the Lord to get you motivated to do great things.

Some people say they don’t need anybody to motivate them. Basically, the allegation is that they are naturally motivated, as in always. Others say God plays no role in their rise to success. But I say, that’s baloney or (Bologna)! Furthermore, the main reason for one to act or behave in a certain way is fueled by a strong desire to achieve, acquire, prove, demonstrate, to cause a reaction from others.

If this were not so why would it matter if a person is motivated or not?
